The Ministry of Construction responds to the standards for teachers teaching driving

    Many people question the standards for teachers teaching driving according to the new regulations.

    On the Government's Electronic Information Portal, Mr. Nguyen Nam Hung in Hai Duong said that he is a practical driving teacher at the vocational training and driving testing center. He graduated from university with a major in information technology and has a vocational training certificate issued in 2009.

    Mr. Hung asked, does his current vocational training pedagogical certificate meet the standards of driving teachers according to the provisions of Decree No. 160/2024/ND-CP?

    What qualifications do you have for your vocational training certificate? If this certificate meets the standards, which document can prove it?

    Regarding this issue, the Ministry of Construction responded as follows:

    The 2009 vocational teacher certificate allows Mr. Nguyen Nam Hung to teach at elementary, intermediate and college levels in the field of vocational education.

    According to current regulations, to teach at these levels, teachers need to have a corresponding pedagogical certificate.

    Circular No. 06/2022/TT-BLDTBXH stipulates the pedagogical training program for teachers teaching at college, intermediate and primary levels.
