HCMC will clear 115 households to widen central road by 3 times
Ho Chi Minh City will relocate 115 households and an organization to widen Tran Binh Trong Street (from Ly Thai To to Hung Vuong) from 5 to 17 m, with a total capital of 1,073 billion VND.

According to the urgent document of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction sent to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on the plan to renovate land plot No. 1 Ly Thai To (Vuon Lai ward), the expansion of this road is necessary to synchronize the traffic infrastructure in the central area.
Currently, surrounding roads such as Hung Vuong and Ly Thai To have been fully invested according to the plan.
Tran Binh Trong Street (from Ly Thai To Street to Hung Vuong Street) is about 370 m long, with an average width of only 5 m, not synchronously connected to Ly Thai To Street, causing limitations in traffic and urban space development.
Therefore, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction proposed to widen this road section to 17 m.
The total estimated investment is about 1,073 billion VND, of which compensation and site clearance costs account for about 830.5 billion VND; construction costs are more than 40.7 billion VND. The project will have to relocate 115 households and 1 organization. See more...
