The draft documents of the 14th Congress express a new thinking
After studying the Draft Documents of the 14th National Party Congress, the Vietnam Bank Trade Union stated: the content on building Vietnamese culture and people reflects a new, comprehensive and modern mindset, both inheriting the ideology of Ho Chi Minh and previous Congresses, and creating a breakthrough in the awareness of the role of culture in the development of the country in the new era.
In recent years, along with the strong development of the finance - banking sector, human culture and corporate culture in the Vietnamese banking system have made clear progress, becoming a bright spot in the movement "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style".
The Vietnam Banking Trade Union said that the team of officials, civil servants and employees of the banking industry has been forming the image of a bank officer "Hery - Disciplined - Responsible - Professional - Creative". The spirit of customer service, civilized behavioral culture, standard, dedicated and transparent attitude in work have contributed to strengthening people's trust in the financial - banking system. Many commercial banks and industry units have focused on building a corporate culture associated with their own core values, considering culture as a foundation for sustainable development. Programs such as "Green Bank - Social Responsibility", "Customer is the Center", "Happy Workers" have created a humane, united and effective working environment.
The Vietnam Bank Trade Union, as an organization representing the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers, has proactively promoted its core role in building grassroots cultural life; organized many cultural and sports movements, patriotic emulation, and propaganda of professional ethics, contributing to building the image of workers and civil servants in the banking industry who are both dedicated, talented, and sociably responsible.
In the context of strong digital transformation today, the banking industry is transforming not only in technology but also in organizational culture, towards humanity, promoting the value of transparency, standards and creativity in each transaction and each product.
Factors of "digital culture", "digital citizens" in building Vietnamese people in the new era
To concretize and promote the new spirit in the Draft, the Vietnam Bank Trade Union proposed a number of orientations and adjustments. In particular, it is necessary to include the elements of "digital culture" and "digital citizens" in the content of building Vietnamese people in the new era.
In addition, it is necessary to build a set of indicators to assess the development of Vietnamese culture and people - a system of qualitative criteria to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of cultural policies at both national and local levels. At the same time, make workers' culture and corporate culture an important factor in the national value system, because this is a direct productive and creative force in a socialist-oriented market economy.
Along with that, it is necessary to innovate the content of cultural education in schools and society, associated with education in life skills, sense of responsibility, respect for the law, patriotism and community awareness.
