The victory of the August Revolution in 1945 led to the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945) which opened a major turning point for the revolution, bringing the Vietnamese people into a new era - the era of national independence associated with socialism. Our people, from their slavery status, have become masters of the country and their own destiny. In that meaningful victory, the role of workers and the Trade Union organization is very great.
