How to calculate high school exam scores
The admission score is the total score of each admission combination (according to EUH regulations), combined with the priority points for subjects and areas (exchanged according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training) and rounded to two decimals (exchanged in case the admission combination has a coefficient exam subject) according to the Regulations in the current Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
How to calculate academic records
Admission scores are converted from the following 5 criteria, including 1 mandatory criterion and 4 non-mandatory criteria:
Required criteria: The average score of the subject group for admission is calculated according to grade 10, grade 11 and grade 12 from 6.50 or higher.
Non-compliance criteria:
Students with a valid international English certificate (as of the date of application submission) equivalent to IELTS from 6.0 or TOEFL iBT from 73 or higher.
Students who won first, second, and third prizes in the provincial and municipal high school excellent student selection exam (under the central government) in the following subjects: Math, Physics, Chemistry, English, Literature, and Information Technology.
Students rewarded/ titles (academic performance) in grades 10, 11, and 12 are excellent students, excellent students.
Students of high school for the Gifted/incubator.
How to calculate competency assessment scores
Admission scores according to the scale prescribed by Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics for each program are the total scores converted from the following 2 criteria, in which 1 is compulsory and 1 is not compulsory:
Required criteria: Candidates' scores for the VSAT university entrance exam or the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam in 2025.
Non-compliance: Students with a valid international English certificate (as of the date of application submission) equivalent to IELTS from 6.0 or TOEFL iBT from 73 or higher.
How to calculate V-SAT scores
Admission scores according to the scale prescribed by Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics for each program are the total scores converted from the following 2 criteria, in which 1 is compulsory and 1 is not compulsory:
