On December 4, in the capital Phnom Penh ( Kingdom of Cambodia), the Vietnam Trade Fair in Cambodia 2025 organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade officially opened. Vietnamese booths were honored to welcome Mr. Sun Chanthol - Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia, First Vice Chairman of the Cambodia Development Council for visit.
Attending the opening ceremony were Ms. Someth Somnea - Deputy Head of the Department of Culture, Ministry of Commerce of the Kingdom of Cambodia; Mr. Nguyen Minh Vu - Ambassador of Vietnam to Cambodia; Mr. Bui Quang Hung - Deputy Director of the Department of Trade Promotion (Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam), along with representatives of 44 Vietnamese agencies and enterprises participating in the exhibition, introducing products and many international visitors.
Participating in this year's fair, An Giang province has 5 typical enterprises including: KTC Food canned food factory, FANZA Salanganes Nest Company, Thai Thuy Seafood Company Limited, Nong Phat Dat Company and Thanh Phu Production, Trade and Service Company Limited, with key products such as processed seafood, canned foods, bird's nest, honey and dried agricultural products.
Within the framework of the fair, Ms. Someth Somnea - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia directly visited Vietnamese booths, including those of An Giang enterprises. She highly appreciated the quality, design and applicableity of Vietnamese goods, saying that many products meet the needs and tastes of current Cambodian consumers.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Anh - Deputy Director of the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of An Giang province said that inviting An Giang enterprises to participate in the Vietnam Trade Fair in Cambodia 2025 is a key trade promotion activity to support enterprises in expanding export markets. Cambodia is a market close to An Giang province, with many similarities in consumer tastes. Through the fair, the Center hopes to help An Giang enterprises promote their brands, connect with international partners and customers, and gradually form a stable distribution system of goods in Cambodia and the region," Mr. Nguyen Viet Anh emphasized.
The Vietnam Trade Fair in Cambodia 2025 is expected to open up many practical cooperation opportunities for An Giang enterprises in particular and Vietnamese enterprises in general, contributing to promoting exports, investment and strengthening the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia.
The fair takes place until December 7, 2025.
