By the end of 2024, Samsung's total realized investment capital had reached about 23.2 billion USD, becoming the largest FDI enterprise in Vietnam.
Currently, Samsung's total employees are about 87,000 people, of which more than 45,000 employees work in Bac Ninh province.
In 2024, 6 manufacturing plants of Samsung Vietnam achieved revenue of 62.5 billion USD, export turnover of 54.4 billion USD. Enterprises in Bac Ninh alone achieved revenue of 31.4 billion USD and export turnover of 25 billion USD.
In Bac Ninh, there are more than 70 Samsung's first-level suppliers with a total workforce of about 80,000 people (transaction scale of about 3.3 billion USD).
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Na Ki Hong, General Director of Samsung Vietnam, expressed his deep gratitude to the leaders of Bac Ninh province for always paying attention and creating favorable conditions for Samsung to invest, produce and do business effectively in the province.
Mr. Na Ki Hong said that Samsung Vietnam is currently implementing many programs and projects to train high-quality human resources in educational institutions, so he hopes to continue to cooperate and coordinate with the province to implement this content.
In the coming time, Samsung Vietnam is committed to actively participating in Associations established by Bac Ninh province and hopes that the province will continue to introduce potential enterprises so that the Company can soon have a connection program, accompanying the province in the journey of sustainable development.
At the meeting, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Vuong Quoc Tuan expressed his pleasure at welcoming Mr. Na Ki Hong, General Director of Samsung Vietnam, during a visit and work with Bac Ninh province.
At the same time, they expressed their confidence that Samsung Vietnam will continue to play the role of an important foreign investor for Bac Ninh province.
In the coming time, based on new policies issued by the Central Government, Bac Ninh province will continue to create favorable conditions for Samsung Vietnam Company in Bac Ninh and the Company's vendors to operate effectively, contributing to improving the quality of production and business.
Along with the North-South high-speed railway project, Bac Ninh province will implement Gia Binh International Airport and many other important projects, this will be an important premise for the province to continue developing.
Previously, on July 10, Mr. Nguyen Van Gau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee also received and worked with the working delegation of Samsung Vietnam Group led by Mr. Na Ki Hong, General Director of Samsung Vietnam.
After the merger, Bac Ninh has about 30 industrial parks with a total area of up to thousands of hectares. Bac Ninh's economic scale (GRDP) ranks 5th in the country.
According to the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, in the first 6 months of 2025, the whole province of Bac Ninh has attracted more than 12 billion USD in converted investment capital. In terms of FDI attraction alone, Bac Ninh province ranks second nationwide, after Hanoi city.
