On the afternoon of November 26, officers and soldiers on the islands of Truong Sa Special Zone (Brigade 146, Naval Region 4) activated storm prevention plans No. 15 and supported fishermen to take shelter safely.

According to the reports of the units, by 4:00 p.m. on November 26, the entire Truong Sa Special Zone had received more than 200 fishing vessels with over 2,000 fishermen anchored to avoid the storm at the island locations: Truong Sa, Da Tay, Song Tu Tay, Son Ca, Nam Yet, Sinh Ton.
The island's forces mobilized more than 400 officers and soldiers to support fishermen in reinforcing their homes, tying up their boats, and ensuring safety against strong winds and big waves.
The islands have provided more than 10,000 liters of fresh water, necessities, medicine, arranged temporary accommodation and organized health care and examination for people.
At the same time, units on the island continue to strengthen natural disaster prevention works; adequately reserve food, logistics and fresh water to proactively respond when the storm approaches.
Up to now, all residents on the islands with residents and ships taking shelter from the storm are completely safe.
Forces are maintaining a 24/7 duty regime, ready to support people and handle situations arising when storm No. 15 approaches the Truong Sa archipelago.
