From early morning on Ngoc Ha Street (Ngoc Ha Ward, Hanoi), many free water cake distribution points have been set up to serve people from all over to watch the preliminary approval ceremony of the parade on the evening of August 27. For Mr. Ho's soldiers, being able to go directly to the gift-giving points and support the people is a joy and pride beyond the harbor these days.

Professional military Lieutenant Colonel Bui Thi Thanh Tuyen, Division 308, Army Corps 12 said this was the second time she and her teammates have performed this task.

"Under the direction of superiors, the free food distribution points to serve these people will start from the 24th. We will conduct 3 sessions on August 24, 27 and 30 on streets where people go to watch the training session. When the event takes place, there will be road closures, shops will stop operating, and when people are hungry or thirsty, we will help them.

For soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army who are allowed to directly give gifts to the people, it feels a great honor and pride. The fact of being given gifts with full love from both recipients and recipients is truly touching", Lieutenant Colonel Tuyen shared.

For the first time directly participating in serving an important event of the country, Lieutenant Do Thuy Tien, Division 308, Army Corps 12 could not hide her joy and pride.

"Although I am not allowed to participate in the live parade. However, when serving people outside, joining the atmosphere of September 2 with the whole country, we feel very heroic, excited and proud.

This morning it rained quite heavily, I thought there would be few people coming to see it, but the gift-giving points were still set up and by now the atmosphere was very hot, ready to welcome the parade groups tonight," Lieutenant Thuy Tien shared.

"Coming here to receive gifts carefully prepared by the soldiers, then personally giving them to us, I have never really felt the warm and loving affection between the army and the people. September 2 this year is truly a festival of the river children, I am truly grateful to have participated in this meaningful event", Ms. Ta Thu Trang, Xuan Dinh Ward, Hanoi shared.

The Prime Minister directed Hanoi to mobilize volunteer forces, especially young people, women, veterans... to encourage the socialization of activities to support free food and drinking water distribution to serve people to watch parades, parades, other sightseeing and entertainment activities and arrange forces to be ready to support and guide people at locations where activities take place during the National Day holiday on September 2.
