On March 8, the Bao Loc City Party Committee (Lam Dong) announced that the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee had just issued a document assigning the Bao Loc City People's Committee to inspect and clarify the coffee shop encroaching on the safety corridor of Nam Phuong 1 Lake as reported by the press.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of Bao Loc City Party Committee requested the City People's Committee to direct competent agencies to quickly inspect, verify, and clarify the contents that the press has reported.
The Standing Committee of Bao Loc City Party Committee also directed the handling of related violations (if any) and reported the results before March 14.
As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, the coffee shop project has an area of over 1,171m2 located along Nam Phuong 1 Lake (belonging to Residential Group 1, Ward 1, Bao Loc City).
This project is built entirely on agricultural land, including the area encroaching on the dam safety corridor.
It is known that the project belongs to Mr. Nguyen Viet X, former officer of the People's Court of Bao Loc City (residing in Loc Son Ward, Bao Loc City).
The People's Committee of Bao Loc City issued a record of administrative violations in the field of land on January 10, 2025. The People's Committee of Ward 1 has also sent a report to the People's Committee of Bao Loc City to direct and handle violations related to this project.
