Cantaloupe smoothie
This smoothie combines cantaloupe and milk. Milk is rich in calcium, which strengthens and supports bone structure. Calcium is also needed for the expansion and contraction of blood vessels and muscles.
Ingredient:
- 1 cup cantaloupe, chopped
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
Making:
- Put all ingredients, except cream, into blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour smoothie and ice cream into glass and enjoy.
Strawberry smoothie
Strawberries are one of the fruits rich in calcium. Strawberries are also a source of vitamin C, which is good for overall health.
Ingredient:
- 8 strawberries
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Stone
Making:
- Add strawberries, milk, yogurt, sugar and vanilla to blender.
- Add ice
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy.
