The time of announcement of decisions on the positions of People's Councils and People's Committees at the commune level is June 16, 2025.
The trial operation period of communes and wards after the merger is from June 16 to June 30, 2025.
Immediately after announcing the decision to establish the Party Committees of new communes and wards, the Working Groups of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee worked directly with the Party Executive Committees of each commune and ward to inspect the implementation, direction, and support in removing difficulties.
During the trial operation, implement a regular online session every Thursday afternoon to grasp the situation, orient, direct activities, remove difficulties and obstacles (if any).
From July 1, 2025, the newly established communes and wards will officially come into operation.
The Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee assigned the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee to urgently complete the implementation of regimes and policies for personnel who wish to retire early or quit their jobs due to organizational arrangement, ensuring timeliness and compliance with regulations. Complete the arrangement of personnel for newly established communes and wards according to authority.
