On July 31, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province held a conference to implement the Decision to appoint the Editor-in-Chief of Ap Bac newspaper and Tien Giang Radio and Television Station to take on new assignments.
Accordingly, on behalf of the People's Committee of Dong Thap province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan implemented the Decision to receive and appoint Mr. Nguyen Si Hung - Editor-in-Chief of Ap Bac newspaper and Tien Giang Radio and Television Station to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Thap province.
The appointment term is until Mr. Nguyen Si Hung retires according to regulations.
On this occasion, Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan also implemented the Decision to retire the Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training. Accordingly, Mr. Huynh Thanh Hung - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dong Thap province will retire and enjoy the regime from August 1, 2025.
It is known that Mr. Huynh Thanh Hung is the only member of the Board of Directors of the Department of Education and Training of the old Dong Thap province to continue working after the merger of the two provinces of Dong Thap and Tien Giang.
Previously, at the Conference to announce the retirement decision for cadres organized by the Standing Committee of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee on June 29, 2025, 3 out of 4 members of the Board of Directors of the Department of Education and Training of Dong Thap province retired early as desired. Including Ms. Nguyen Thuy Ha - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Director and 2 Deputy Directors, Nguyen Minh Tam and Nguyen Thanh Danh.
