Currently, construction and reinforcement of damaged locations are still being implemented to ensure long-term safety for the pass.
On November 26, Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, directly inspected the repair work and highly appreciated the proactive participation of forces, especially the construction unit in quickly overcoming the problem to ensure traffic can be resumed.

Mr. Muoi requested that units continue to put safety and quality requirements first, absolutely not because of pressure on progress but affecting the long-term safety of the pass. At the same time, the province directed the maintenance of the warning system and the arrangement of traffic control forces throughout the construction period of the remaining items.
Prenn Pass is a vital traffic route connecting the administrative center in Da Lat with other areas of the province. Therefore, the construction unit must coordinate with relevant agencies to arrange forces to ensure normal traffic for people during the repair and remediation of incidents on the pass," said Mr. Ho Van Muoi.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Hung - Deputy General Director of Deo Ca Construction Joint Stock Company, said that as soon as receiving the proposal from the investor, the unit coordinated with the authorities and invited experts to survey the site, agreeing on a repair and remedial plan. After finalizing the plan, Deo Ca quickly mobilized human resources and equipment to approach the landslide site, organized traffic assurance, deployed forced and reinforced the slope to restore the road surface, creating safe traffic conditions.
Construction work is being carried out continuously day and night to shorten the time to handle incidents. By 1:00 p.m. on November 25, Prenn Pass had been reopened to the entire route, vehicles were allowed to travel in both directions, except for trucks.
Mr. Hung said that the unit will continue to coordinate with the Traffic Department and experts to assess the current situation, complete the technical plan and deploy the next items, and complete the repair items before January 30, 2026 according to local requirements. "For locations at risk of landslides, we are coordinating with relevant units to review to propose solutions for thorough handling, striving to complete the repair items according to the schedule required by the province and the investor," said Mr. Hung.

According to records on November 26, vehicles have been moving normally through Prenn Pass. The authorities continue to be on duty, regulate traffic and support construction to ensure safety.
Lam Dong Department of Construction said that the weather in the area is still complicated and repairs are still ongoing, so it is recommended that people limit travel through the pass during heavy rain, at night or when the fog is thick and reduces visibility.
