Social insurance confirms subjects and income to buy social housing

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Clause 2, Article 1 of Circular 32/2025/TT-BXD of the Ministry of Construction (effective from November 10, 2025) Amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No. 05/2024/TT-BXD dated July 31, 2024) of the Minister of Construction detailing a number of articles of the Housing Law stipulates:

2. Amend and supplement Clause 1, Point d, Clause 2, and supplement Clause 2a after Clause 2, Article 8 as follows: 2a. The subjects specified in Clause 2 of this Article have retired and are entitled to pension paid by the Social Insurance agency in accordance with the provisions of the law on social insurance, the Social Insurance agency that is paying the pension or the People's Committee of the commune where they have registered their permanent or temporary residence or their current residence shall confirm according to Form No. 01a in Appendix I issued with this Circular".

Thus, if a person receiving a pension paid by the Social Insurance agency wants to buy a social housing, the Social Insurance agency that is paying the pension or the People's Committee of the commune where he/she is registered for permanent or temporary residence or the current residence will confirm the subject and income to enjoy the social housing support policy.
