On January 9, information from the People's Committee of Bim Son town, Thanh Hoa province said that the unit recently issued a decision on administrative sanctions in the field of construction against INTCO Vietnam Industrial Company Limited (address at Bim Son Industrial Park, Bac Son ward, Bim Son town, Thanh Hoa province), the amount of fine is 390 million VND.
Along with the penalty decision, the People's Committee of Bim Son town requested this enterprise to take remedial measures such as: stopping construction of the project, within 90 days (from the effective date of this decision 24/12/2024), the company must complete the application for a construction permit from the competent authority. After the above-mentioned deadline, if the company fails to present the issued construction permit, it must demolish the project itself.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, in August 2024, after receiving information that INTCO Vietnam Industrial Company Limited (in Bim Son Industrial Park, Thanh Hoa province) was carrying out construction without a license, the People's Committee of Bac Son Ward, Bim Son Town established a working group to conduct an on-site inspection.
At the time of the inspection, the company was digging foundations and constructing works. However, the company had not yet provided documents and construction permits. Immediately after that, the inspection team made a record, requiring the company to stop construction and complete the construction permit application according to regulations.
According to the representative of Bac Son Ward People's Committee, although after inspection, the functional sector requested to stop construction and complete the documents. However, this enterprise still proceeded with construction.
Regarding the above incident, Bac Son Ward People's Committee reported to Bim Son Town People's Committee requesting consideration and direction of functional forces, coordinating with local authorities to handle the matter.
