Labor demand increases at the beginning of the year

In the first phase of February 2025, enterprises in the Industrial Park in Hai Phong need to recruit 3,990 more workers, mainly unskilled workers (3,818/3,990 workers). Of the 11 enterprises with recruitment needs, Am Tran Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd. (VSIP Industrial Park) has the largest recruitment needs with 1,480 employees; redining Miracle International Co., Ltd. (with VSIP Industrial Park) recruits 1,315 employees.

Some other enterprises are also in need of a large number of workers, such as: Crystal sweater Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Trang Due Industrial Park) recruiting 505 workers; Sumirubber Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Japan Industrial Park - Hai Phong) needs 406 more workers, Precision Craft Component Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd. (Nam Dinh Vu 1 Industrial Park) recruiting 200 workers this time...

In addition to industrial parks, businesses in the footwear and garment sector have increased recruitment demand. Recently, Aurora Vietnam Shoes Industrial Company Limited (located in Thien Huong Ward, Thuy Nguyen City, Hai Phong) issued a notice to recruit 1,000 workers for garment, cutting and finishing departments with a basic salary from VND 5,317,000 to VND 6,159,000/person/month, not including allowances such as spending 400,000 VND/month, travel allowance 500,000 VND/month, accommodation allowance 600,000 VND/month, shift meals 25,000 VND/meal...

According to information from the Hai Phong City Employment Service Center, in February 2025, 38 enterprises in the area will have recruitment needs with the number of 3,552 workers, most of whom are unskilled workers, workers in the fields of production technology, manufacturing, construction, textiles, transportation, etc. On February 24, the Center organized a regular job fair with the participation of 11 enterprises, recruiting thousands of positions.

Enterprises lower standards, increase incentives

To recruit a large number of workers, many businesses do not set many requirements in recruitment. New workers will be rewarded by the company with 150,000 VND for the probationary month, and old workers returning to work at the company will be given additional working hours to calculate seniority pay...

Similarly, at Nam Thuan Production Joint Stock Company, the company recruits workers who do not require a degree and at the same time, launches a bonus to attract workers from now until the end of March for those who introduce new workers of 2 million VND/person for skilled workers, 1 million VND/person for unskilled workers. New workers are also supported with 3 million VND for skilled workers, 1.5 million VND for unskilled workers (applying sewing workers, that is, quality).
