The 4th EVNHCMC Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, opened on June 17.
According to the report at the congress, under the leadership of the Corporation's Party Committee, over the past 5 years (2021 - 2025), EVNHCMC has achieved some outstanding results such as meeting Ho Chi Minh City's extreme electricity demand increasing from 4,520 MW in 2020 to 5,212 MW in 2024, equivalent to an average increase of 3.74%/year; completing the 2-year target of improving the reliability of power supply, 3 years ahead of schedule with the target of reducing power losses compared to the plan of Vietnam Electricity Group.
The high, medium, low voltage power grid system and technical and technological infrastructure are well invested, with basic reserve level to meet requirements. The existing human resources (management team, engineers, experts, specialists, direct workers, etc.) basically meet the requirements to complete the set tasks and goals.
Automate 100% of the power grid through putting into operation the Control Center with SCADA/DMS operating software, 100% of 110kV stations without manned duty, 100% of medium voltage grid remote controlled and fully automated operation, digitizing 100% of power grid operation and management.
Regarding Party development, EVNHCMC Party Committee always pays attention to leadership, direction, promoting and improving the quality of party member admissions and implementing well the party member admissions, ensuring compliance with the process, procedures, and authority prescribed by the Party, in which, paying attention to the workforce and outstanding union members.
Over the past 5 years, the entire EVNHCMC Party Committee has admitted 364 Party members, exceeding the target of the EVNHCMC Party Congress Resolution for the 2020 - 2025 term (250), bringing the total number of Party members of the entire Corporation Party Committee to 1,507 people.
The work of building grassroots Party organizations has always been focused on by the EVNHCMC Party Committee, focusing on leadership and direction to implement, thoroughly grasp and promptly implement resolutions, regulations, conclusions, instructions... on organizational work to lead and direct the implementation uniformly throughout the Corporation's Party Committee.
EVNHCMC Party Committee also focuses on directing the building of a clean and strong grassroots Party organization and Party Committee, focusing on directing the rectification and strict implementation of the Party's activities, improving the quality of Party Committee and Party cell activities in the Party Committee of the Corporation.
The Congress agreed to implement 25 main targets in the new term, including 11 targets on Party building tasks and 14 targets on production and business tasks such as meeting the maximum electricity demand by 2030, expected to reach 7,800 MW; commercial electricity output is expected to reach 40.7 billion kWh...
The Congress also elected 19 members to the EVNHCMC Party Executive Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term, Mr. Pham Quoc Bao continued to be elected as Secretary of the EVNHCMC Party Committee.
